Issue:
After logout and login, the Adobe PhotoShop window has shifted slighly when the monitors refreshed. The window left edge is now slightly off the screen and grabbing the top bar to move it back right does not work.
Closing and re-opening PhotoShop does not help, reloads in same position. Changing the resolution is a larger resolution is not an option, because the Macbook monitor is already on its highest resolution. Unplugging external monitors doesn't make the PhotoShop window move because the main window is always enabled.
Solution:
The solution ended up being simple - scale the window holding down the Option key.
To do this:
Place cursor in bottom-right corner of window until the cursor changes to the arrows -- as if you are going to expand the window down and right. Before moving the mouse, hold down Option key, and drag up/in to scale the window smaller. This brought the left edge back into the screen and restored normal ability to resize the window.
