Issue:
Users on Windows on XP (IE8) and Windows 7 cannot open and edit attachments when using OWA. The issue is independent of workstation policy restrictions and tied to the MS Exchange user account. Issue does NOT affect non-Domain use at home or via Macintosh.
Solution:
For this issue, the policy is actually part of the Mailbox Policy settings.
Exchange Management Console (EMC) --> User Account --> Account Properties (dialog) --> Mailbox Features (tab) --> Outlook Web App Mailbox Policy field --> Set to Default, from not defined.
