Issue:
Would like to quickly lock screen w/o having to use corners or time out.
Solution:
Use Keychain Access' Lock Screen feature.
1. Applications --> Utilities --> Keychain Access.
2. Once program is open, select Preferences under Keychain Access.
3. Under the General tab, click/enable the checkbox "Show keychain status in menu bar".
This allows you to lock your keychain or your screen from the top menu bar.
