This error generally occurs with a FP2000 client publishing to a F98 server. You get a "parsing" error message also stating to contact your web administrator. This error occurs after the File upload during the "Processing Updates..." stage.
When you are publishing from FP 2000 to a FP 98 or 2000 server and get this, simply publish from a FrontPage 98 station.
I have found no other workaround that works.
I have tried restarting FrontPage 2000 client and its box.
I have tried restarting both servers.
Nothing else works.
