Issue:
Installing IBM Installation Manager on CentOS 6.x.
Having issue where normal graphical install just hour-glasses (spinning dotted ball) indefinitely. Log is started, but nobody's home. Processor usage is minimal.
Workaround:
Performed installation of Installation Manager.
$ su - root
<enter password>
# cd InstallMgrFolder
# ./installc -c
Note: if you are not running as root, then run instead:
# ./userinstc -c
