Error #3005f Message: "Unable to read configuration for Microsoft Internet Information Server."

Resolutions:
MS web says this is problem with the security high/medium/low isolation setting not being same with virtual servers as the default site. However, their error number has the same number, but the description has additional info about error reading the default vroot info w/ an OS error number. This won't fix the error.

Instead, the common problem/solution with the "Unable to read configuration" error has to do with individual virtual servers, and the path being somehow corrupted. If you have a virtual server, the solution may be to create a new folder and copy the content into it, and then point IIS to the new folder. Then re-run the FP Extension manager and fix/reinstall the FP Extensions for that virtual server.
