You would like to set the Ethernet port up for communication. To do this you need to use the serial interface:
- Establish serial communication.
- Edit Menu > Site Ethernet Preferences.
- Click on the Ring you wish to configure.
- Click Edit Unit Settings.
- Select Enable IP control
- Enter the IP address, mask, etc.
- Click Write Settings to Unit.
- Note: Or, click Read Settings from Unit. (Synchs the IP between software and unit).
