Issue:
New install of FreePBX has issue with voicemail notification where the server name is a generic "AMPWEBADDRESS" instead of the server's FQDN or IP address.
Solution:
The file must be manually edited. Open up a terminal and switch to root:
# vi /etc/asterisk/vm_email.inc
Change the AMPWEBADDRESS to the FQDN or the IP address of the server.
Press "a" to start adding text.
Press <esc> when your replacement is done.
Type :wq, to save (write to disk) the change and quit to the command console. (Notice this starts with a colon : .)
