User Cannot Hear an Extension at a Different Site / Network

ShoreTel phones communicate on port 5004. Once the call is made they communicate with each other directly.
Check that:
1. Gateways on the Phones/Networks are set between the two networks/sites.
2. No firewall is blocking port 5004 communication.

You can telnet into a phone via the phoneCTL utility on the main ShoreTel server.
1. Enable via:
c:\Program Files\Shoreline Communications\ShoreWare Server\PhoneCTL -p
(The password is set in IP Phones --> Options submenu.)
2. Telnet from the server using the phones IP address.
