Issue:
You've set multiple volume points to tweak a track/audio region. Now you want to globally increase or decrease volume w/o using a GAIN adjustment or Compressor.
Solution:
Incredibly simple, I missed it and miss-understood it in the manual.
1. Select the points you want to adust (loop them).
2. Select the [ ] trim tool. When you hover over a track in volume mode, it will turn into up and down brackets.
3. click in the highlighted region and drag up or down to increase or decrease the volume respectively.
